Christmas lights

on a municipal building in Brussels:

and on Regent Street in London:

Are you feeling Christmas-y now?

St Pancras International station, London

It's a good thing Sir John Betjeman didn't see these photos or this amazing building might never have been saved.

Battersea Arts Centre

an all-round amazing building that I visited for the first time recently. Not that you can tell from these two pictures.

Christ Church Spitalfields again, this time at night and without the top cut off

Parrilladas Del Sur, a Bolivian restaurant on the Old Kent Road, London

The premises used to sell fireplaces as you can see from the missing bit of sign. They have Bolivian music and it really looks and feels like a restaurant in South or Central America.

Mr Miyagi projected on the wall, the Westway as its roof - it's Westbourne Studios

The good news is I can now transfer photos from my phone to my computer again. The bad news is the photos are still rubbish. Here's one of an event at Westbourne Studios, a curious West London suite of offices on an industrial estate with a bar in the middle, hence Karate Kid being projected on to the wall. I find it pretty amazing that the roof is the Westway (dual carriageway leading out of London, immortalised by The Clash).

a carousel at Lovebox in Victoria Park, London

this event was a few months ago now but I'm having trouble transferring pictures from my cameraphone to my computer at present so here's an old picture in the meantime

London Underground tube foot tunnel

I've forgotten which station. Does anyone know?
